Lorsban 3E contains chlorpyrifos, a cholinesterase inhibitor, that affects the nervous system of the target insect leading to paralysis and eventual death.
Lorsban 3E is highly effective for the control of a wide range of insect pests in crops. This insecticide kills insect pests thru multiple actions, namely: contact, stomach and respiratory. It provides longer protection and lesser spray interval for crops, making it economical to use.
Lorsban 3E is registered in rice, potato, corn and beans for the effective control of worms.
Lorsban 40 EC
Lorsban 40 EC is a more concentrated formulation of Lorsban. The mode of action is the same as in Lorsban 3E.
Lorsban 40 EC is registered in sugarcane, banana and pineapple for the control of white grub, thrips, scaring beetle, aphid, mealy bug and ant.
